Nephrology is a specialty of internal medicine that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect the kidneys.

We provide in-person consultations at two convenient locations – Maribyrnong and St Albans (Melbourne, Victoria). We also offer remote consultations via a secure video telehealth platform for patients in regional and rural areas.

All of our Nephrologists are currently accepting new referrals and look forward to providing you with the best healthcare possible.  We are a private billing clinic.  Consultation fees and medicare rebates will be provided upon booking.

Dr Trung Quach is a Consultant Nephrologist.  His main areas of specialisation include the management of hypertension, proteinuria, chronic kidney disease, kidney stones, dialysis and renal transplantation.

Dr Khai Yang Ooi is a Consultant Nephrologist who is highly experienced in general, dialysis and transplant nephrology. He completed his medical degree at Monash University in 2005 and undertook his specialist training at Alfred Health and Western Health in Melbourne, attaining his Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2015. He also completed a Masters of Medicine with Monash University.

Khai is a resident of the western suburbs and has made a firm commitment to providing long term, holistic renal care to residents of the area.

Dr Anuksha Gujadhur is an experienced nephrologist and general physician.  Her areas of specialisation include refractory hypertension, chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, obstetric medicine and complex medical patients. Dr Gujadhur prioritises a close working relationship with her medical colleagues for optimal patient care.

Dr Adam Flavell is an enthusiastic and experienced consultant nephrologist.

As a kidney specialist, Adam’s interests include chronic kidney disease, hypertension, inherited kidney diseases, glomerulonephritis, dialysis, kidney transplantation, and renal supportive care. He is also passionate about research and is an investigator on several prominent clinical trials.

Dr Jamie Cheong is a dedicated, relatable and experienced kidney specialist. She competed her medical degree through Monash University and obtained her Fellowship in Nephrology in 2018. She trained at Monash, Melbourne and Western Health resulting in a depth of exposure to renal medicine. Her specific interests include glomerulonephritis, hypertension, renal calculi, polycystic kidney disease, transplantation and obesity.

Dr Juli Jaw is a young and caring Nephrologist.  She was awarded a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physician (FRACP) in 2016. She recently completed her PhD research in the field of autoimmune kidney disease with a special interest in ANCA (Anti Neutrophils Cytoplasmic Antibodies) Associated Vasculitis (AAV).

She consults in various areas of Nephrology including hypertension, electrolyte disturbances, kidney stones, diabetes renal disease, acute and chronic kidney disease, dialysis, transplantation and autoimmune kidney disease.
